Last February 19, RMN Networks celebrated a pivotal milestone with the formal inauguration of the brand-new integrated RMN Broadcast Center for both RMN DYHB 747 Bacolod and 94.3 iFM Bacolod in the heart of the city.
RMN Networks Chairman and President Eric S. Canoy, RMN Executive Vice President and COO Enrico Guido O. Canoy, RMN Vice President of Integrated New Media Enrique O. Canoy, RMN-Marketing and Media Ventures Executive Vice President and COO Erika Canoy-Sanchez all were in attendance during the event. They were also joined by local government representatives, regional station managers from Kalibo, Roxas and Iloilo, together with employees from both RMN DYHB 747 Bacolod and 94.3 iFM Bacolod.
The new site and home of both stations and the RMN Hiligaynon Drama Center is more than just a facelift; it represents the RMN Networks’ continued growth and evolution from its early roots in Bacolod during the 1960s to a modern media powerhouse that better serves the Negrense community as a whole.
RMN Networks Chairman Eric Canoy exclaimed, “Today’s blessing is also an occasion for us to share the blessings that we’ve received throughout the years, share with you, our people, and the people we serve in the communities where we are.”
A key highlight of the station visit was the grand unveiling of the RMN Bacolod Broadcast Center Wall Mural documenting the historical milestones of the RMN Networks as it approaches its 75th anniversary this coming 2027. The inspiring artwork serves as a visual manifesto of the station’s evolution from a traditional radio outlet into the modern multimedia powerhouse that it is today.
Like the wall mural, the new Broadcast Center serves as a bridge between the classic DYHB and iFM Bacolod legacy and heritage to a more future-focused digital identity, proving that while technology changes, the Power of Hyperlocal connection to the people remains the core of RMN Network’s mission.
